Got to take some football action shots at Grant’s football game in Queen Creek, and wow was it a blast. The energy of the game was amazing, and I loved capturing the different highlights during the night from the sunset warm up, to the game, to the team huddles, and the in between moments. In some of these pics he literally looks like a senior, it’s crazy watching your younger fam grow up and see the awesome things they’re doing.
Not gonna lie, I know much more about the cheering on the sidelines than the football rules, but capturing moments that happen in the blink of an eye isn’t new for me - so I knew it would be epic. Being right up on the action with my camera is such a thrill, and I got sooo many photos of the different plays.
Whenever I get to photograph events, whether action shots or any sort of celebration, I love to get the whole scene with both close ups and photos from farther away. Some dramatic black and white edits are my fave too, they make you really pause and take it all in. It was so cool to take football photos, this was the first time I’ve shot action of football, and it made me feel like I was a photographer for the NFL hahaha
