Donating Hair!
Guess what!! I donated sixteen inches of hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, a charity that makes free wigs for women with cancer. If you haven't known me super long, you didn't know I pretty much just grow my hair out to donate because it grows ridiculously fast. This was my sixth time donating hair and I absolutely love sharing these stories!!
This was my sixth donation and, as I said, I donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths -- a charity that creates free wigs for women with cancer. I DO NOT donate to Locks of Love anymore after reading a 2012 report that they had over six million dollars worth of usable hair unaccounted for, as I no longer feel they are a reputable place. Research the "Locks of Love scandal" for more info on that. Most of the time I just donate because it's a fun transformation for myself and I know the hair will go to someone in need. Once I donated in honor of a family friend with alopecia, and this time for my nana who passed of cancer.💗 It's fun to surprise everyone with a chop and I don't tell people beforehand since they'll usually say nooo don't cut it haha. Long hair is definitely the prettiest, and I'm fortunate enough to be able to share mine.
I just loveee to donate!! Here is the experience told through a story in pictures. :) It was so fun to have my littlest sis Cameron help document, and shoutout to Emilee for the cute pics on the last day of my long hair.
Dylan at Toni & Guy cut my new hair and he is SO awesome. It was such a fun transformation and he always does such an amazing job!! When he went to style it short, I almost wanted to leave it straight. I was so obsessed. He added some messy waves though and I have pretty much done it the same way ever since the chop. It's so fun finding new short styles.

Well this here on the blog was definitely a personal post, different from usual shoots, but it's so fun to share!!
