Dallas 2018
Wowww where to even start?! Dallas was absolutely amazing. Took off on my own adventure February 23-25 and had some of the greatest photoshoots and met the most incredible people. It was so awesome and I had so much fun creating with all of my new friends! I'm sure you followed along on my Instagram story updates, but now (finally!) check out the blog recap with full photos from shoots.

Boarded the earliest flight out of Phoenix on Friday and was ready to start in Dallas about noon! The weather, oh my gosh the weather was CRAZY. First of all I have never in my life seen that much fog, but guys it had been predicted to rain the entire time I was there (nbd, I've improvised in the rain before) and it did! But how crazy is this: if a shoot was scheduled for 9:00 am it would literally clear up at 8:45 and let us shoot with the prettiest cloud cover. It was actually the coolest thing.
The first shoot was with Olivia. :) We shot together in Orlando last April and it was so fun seeing her and her mom again. Her team, East Celebrity Elite Bombshells, won NCA a few days later!
My mom is Jill, and she owns Allstar Cheer Bling, a custom rhinestone apparel company. She actually last minute decided she'd come to Dallas too, as she was debuting her own custom sports bra design on the California Allstars Smoed. She was there Friday/Saturday, and after Olivia's shoot I went over to Cheer Athletics where Smoed was having practice and got some photos in their beautiful new apparel!
Friday's next shoot was with Karolyne on Woodlands Elite Generals. She's such an incredible athlete and I was so excited to meet her! Her and her mom and sister were seriously adorable and the nicest people She is beautiful and I loved shooting with the bright colors in all of her outfits.
Ended the day with a team shoot for Green Bay Elite Lime and then a little time with Amaya & Ella from Oregon Dream Team! It was sooo freezing toward the end of the night and the fog got lower and lower haha but so happy we were all able to shoot together.
And we found Lime Bikes. With Lime. How cute omg!! Perfect way to wrap up their team shoot.

Saturday was super busy. I started with some girls from Cali AZ! We all went to Deep Ellum which was super cool. During my time in Dallas, one thing I did to keep shoots unique was shoot somewhere different every time. Even if I was around the Convention Center, I'd take a new path to be surrounded by different walls and buildings. It really helped me stay creative and I loved that nobody was getting exactly the same thing. :)
After Deep Ellum with these girls, I headed to the convention center to photograph an Australian team outfitted with Allstar Cheer Bling. :) They were so cute!
The next shoot was with Christina on Cheer Athletic Jags. I was way excited to shoot with her because I had never photographed this pretty uniform.
Next I got to shoot with Taylor and Raegan, the cuuutest sisters from California Allstars.
It was the best day!!

The last day began with one of my favorite shoots of all time -- the team and coaching staff from Cheersport Great White Sharks! They were the nicest and most appreciative ever! It was so fun to take the basic headshots and team photos,t hen whatever else they wanted. Team shoots are SO FUN. Aaaand it was so cool because later that day Great White Sharks became 2018 NCA Champions, ah!
I know this is the longest blog post ever but I'm really hoping you're loving it!! After Great White Sharks, I got to shoot with the seniors of Lady Lightning. They had Letterman jackets for allstar cheer which was the coolest, and I'd never seen it!
And then the very last shoot of the trip was with Olivia and her sister Kayla! Kayla had just won NCA with her team so she got some awesome photos with that fresh, new jacket. Coolest thing ever right?!
And that was Dallas! It was the most incredible time, and such an adventure. I am so grateful for everyone who connected in this amazing city. <3 Longest blog post ever, so thanks for checking it out! Loveee sharing these photos.
